2017-2018 Collaborative Inquiry Academy

Several people have inquired about the Facilitating Collaborative Inquiry Teams workshop.  The focus of the workshop is around two books, Leading Groups and Groups at Work, by Dr. Laura Lipton and Bruce Wellman.  During the 2-day workshop, you learn about strategies, structures, and principles for facilitating collaborative inquiry teams.

However, I don't want our learning to stop at a 2-day workshop.  Instead, I want us to form the CIA (Collaborative Inquiry Academy) where we will continue learning together throughout the 2017-2018 school year.

If you are interested in being part of the CIA, please review the following requirements and submit your application online by FRIDAY, April 21st at 12 PM.

• Attend the 2-day workshop at DuPont Tyler Middle Prep on Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14 from 9 AM to 4 PM.  (MUST be available to attend BOTH days.)
• Participate in CIA webinars throughout the 2017-2018 school year (September, December, February, April....Exact dates and times TBD).
• Attend the follow-up face to face workshops in November and March.  (Exact dates and times TBD.)
• Be willing to learn new strategies and share them with others. 
  
• Complete the online application form by FRIDAY, April 21st at 12 PM.
